Bowel Preparation Study

Purpose of Bowel preparation study
This study aims to assess the experiences and symptoms of patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) following bowel preparation and colonoscopy, compared to individuals without IBD. Additionally, it seeks to identify specific types of bowel preparation that may contribute to increased post-procedure discomfort or exacerbation of IBD symptoms.
Researchers will analyze and compare patient feedback surveys from both IBD and non-IBD groups to achieve these objectives.
What is involved
Participants will complete a one-time survey (online or in-person). The survey will take approximately 5-10 minutes and includes questions about their clinical history, colonoscopy experience, and perspectives on bowel preparation.
Participants will have up to 2 weeks post-procedure to complete the survey.
